THIRTEEN THINGS I LOVE ABOUT CLEMSON FOOTBALL
1. I happen to look REALLY good in ORANGE!
2. TAILGATING
3. TIGER RAG
4. The goose bumps you get when the team runs down the hill
5. The trip TO the game everyone is sooo excited and chatty
6. Death Valley
7. The Coakleys have BOX seats which they let us use on crappy games
8. Our parking spot - it's 6 rows from the stadium
9. Our SEATS - they are great!
10.The games we can't go to are ALWAYS on TV
11. The noise - it is soooo awesome
12. Seeing my old stomping grounds and how much it changes every year!
13. Did I mention TAILGATING...We bring a TV & satellite to watch the other games - we chat eat food, drink a beer and watch the kids ride down the hill on boxes!

My mom had traffic court this morning (I don't think the Grannie Nannie has ever sped before) so Annie had to go to work with GranDennis -

GranDennis said "Annie you are going to be my secretary"
Annie said "Grannie I going to be GranDennis' secatary - how much does he pay?"

I just don't know where she get this stuff -
By the way - GranDennis says he pays well - IN CANDY (that's gold to the baby!)

Owen Turns THREE!

It was a fun filled week at the Bailey house we had TWO birthday parties! You know we like a cake and a party! It was Owen's POOL party and it was fun! All of our priends were there INCLUDING Colleen, Tim and Gus! Colleen is one of my BEST friends from High School and she has been living in Colorado so I only get to see her once a year - so she came to the party to hang out (she looks GREAT - Gussy is cute and she's SEVEN months preggo with numba 2)It was soooooooo good to see her! Birthday are so special and it is always good to see great friends!

Happy Birthday Dear Reeser!

It was The Reeser's Birthday yesterday, wow how time flies! I can't believe she's already a year old - She is soooo cute and has the funnest little personality. When we got there she walked right over pulled on my leg and said "uh" - That's Reeser for "pick me up!" She had LOTS and LOTS of fun - Annie had a BLAST - She had been missing all of her priends and I must say the cake was YUMMY - We are just sooo blessed by that sweet little Reeser - it is ALL I can do not to walk out with her and never look back!!! Happy Birthday Sweet Reeser!!!!

13 REALLY COOL THINGS THE GRANNIE NANNIE DOES!

1. She sold our businesses to stay home and watch Annie
2. She does my laundry and takes my stuff to the cleaners
3. She tells me I am a GREAT Mom - even when I don't feel like it
4. She keeps inventory of my home products and makes sure I NEVER run out!
5. She works for me ANY time I want a day off
6. She always tells me I need to have more fun
7. She waters my lawn (she went & bought 2 hoses, 2 sprinklers & a timer)
8. She takes out my trash
9. She always listens (although she usually talks back)
10. She always tells me I am smart
11. She LOVES LOVES LOVES Annie (she has changed her entire life to help)
12. She stands behind me even when I am wrong
13. There is NOTHING she wouldn't do for Annie or me!

First Day of School

Annie had her first day of school (it's her 4th first day - Mother's Morning out, Daycare, Flowertown last year and now her school school 3k-8th) I was sad to miss it but I don't think it started off with a bang - there was some confusion - Nickname chaos - Everything at school says Annie, mom called her Annabelle (THAT caused some confusion) She was sent to the other class and back but Annie was fine (GRANNIE was NOT) - so here are pictures from the afternoon when things are back on track!!!!

Thirteen Things that are going to happen while I'm in Hotlanta!

1. Annie will start school (sniff)
2. Sally Clarke will go on her first plane ride
3. I will miss Mom's Night Out (sigh)
4. I don't have to work for 3 days!
5. I get to hang out with Susie
6. I won't get to blog
7. I won't have to drive ( Susie's parents are our drivers)
8. No exercising!
9. I will get to buy LOTS of fun stuff
10. I will miss all of my friends and watching my baby girl wear off her new polish
11. I don't have to cook (not that I do but great excuse!)
12. I won't get to see Annie in her MONOGRAMMED JEANS!
13. I will take LOTS of pictures and fill everyone in!!!

Pedi Party!

Before I head off to Hotlanta for the weekend - Annie and I went and got Pedis done! She LOVED dipping her toes in the water - she wasn't as still for the painting part but she sure did have fun and our toes look great!!!

LAST Tuesday of the SUMMER!

So school starts FRIDAY for Annie ( I am trying to rush this in before I head off to Meet the Creature, ur, Teacher) and my girl Tuesday goes back to school on Monday so alas this was a fond farewell to summmer - We had lunch, did some school shopping and headed to the Kabines for playgroup WHAT FUN!!!!

THIS JUST HAPPENED!

Lady - "WOW Dena you look great - have you lost weight?
Dena - "Yes thank you"
Lady - "what have you been doing?"
Dena - " I don't eat as many whites and my girls and I exercise!"
Lady - "WOW - Have you lost like SIXTY POUNDS?"

REALLY???? I mean thanks for the compliment!


PS - I have only lost EIGHT POUNDS!!!!

Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen GADGETS I can't live without!

1. My Hiptop Cell Phone - I can email, text and check my blog - Leslie and I are ALWAYS in touch - we would be LOST without it!

2.My DVR - Keeping up with my shows is a MUST and with a busy schedule like mine there is no way to watch everything when it comes on - and you can FAST FORWARD through commercials!

3.My MP3 Player - that is the ONLY way I roll on the treadmill!

4. My BRA - It is definitely a gadget for sure! I don't know how it does it but it holds these suckers in place and keeps them perky - it's function not fashion!

5.My CAMERA - I take that thing with me EVERYWHERE I go - thank goodness - cause I do catch some great shots and some funny stuff! AND it records so I can watch Annie anytime!

6. My Keyless remote entry to my car - I don't know how we lived before but my battery is dying and I am MORE than willing to pay the 200 bucks not to have to unlock my own door!

7. My Febreze Noticables - when you have a stinky dog and a small house these are a MUST - now when people come to visit I don't have to light a candle or spray!

8. My computer - without which I wouldn't be able to work - google or BLOG - I don't know what I would do all day without it!

9. My REFRIGERATOR! - I mean come on - It holds the chocolate milk, frappucinos, left overs from Les and Sugar and ALL the great meals from Our Daily Bread

10. My alarm system - One click of the pad and safe sleep is moments away!

11. LUNESTA - Well it may not be a gadget but it's something I can't live without! Or SLEEP without but isn't that the same!

12. Slide.com - It is my FAVORITE! I love that there is a slide on my screensaver so I don't have to choose just one picture!

13. My YMCA card - I love sliding it through and hearing "Have a nice workout" ha - REALLY??? but then I see the smiling faces of Sugar, Claire and Buffie

Mountain Trip Monday

So as most of you know my life is a LITTLE nutty this month - Annie is living the Fabulous Life of...Annie! She has been staying at the lake most of the time and this weekend made a trip to the mountains (wow it's good to be her!) I was sorry to have missed it but thrilled the Grannie Nannie has gotten so good with the camera - She said Annie kept saying "tank you oh tank you - I wove da mountains" So here are a few pictures of her and GranDennis and her new friend Kyla - who she LOVED!

The right place the right time?

So I have always thought my life was just a LITTLE kookier than others - but NOW I have proof - this is a picture I TOOK at the gas station in town!!!
The groom was pumping gas in the getaway car! (maybe on the check list to do BEFORE the reception) I am soooo glad I carry this camera everywhere - I don't think people would believe me unless they saw it!!!

And yes - I am cheating a bit - this is sunday's blog posted Monday (but i wasn't around a computer - so you may be winning - ELIZABETH) hahahahahahah!

As to not to be defeated

There is not too much going on - well okay there is - today we had a ragsland party - very cute children's clothing www.ragsland.com to see the cute stuff! My friend buffie is the rep! I am trying to make my schedule for the month and wow - it's already crazy - next weekend my uncle ron is coming - the next weekend it's off to atlanta for market (annie starts k3 on the 17th) then there's a birthday party - not to mention CLEMSON football is almost here - so I am getting VERY excited because Clemson Football is my FAVORITE -

Did I mention Annie is in the mountains???? Okay - More to come tomorrow - because I took one of the BEST pictures ever tonight and can't wait to share!

3. We ate PIZZA (and it was actually quite good)
4. We played with our priends
5. We missed Cole, Jonah, Judah, Mary and Jack
6. We had a mini date (that's Annie and Mac in the car on a "date")
7. We watched Lily Kate, Abby and Emma ride the roller coaster
8. We loved that man in the car with his doggie
9. We drank LOTS of Lemonade
10.We hugged our priends
11.We laughed and squealed a lot
12.We didn't use any of our tokens
13.We went home and told Grannie EVERYTHING!!!!

It was clean and chaotic but Annie and Leslie love it so much we are going again for playgroup at the end of the month!!!!
