Soiree

The Lees had everyone over for a cookout at their house! Virginia and the kids had been gone for 10 days (it seemed like 4 weeks) they are back and Virginia's Mom came up for a visit - So we went to hang out with her cause she lives in Florida and we hear such GREAT things about her! She was cute and sweet and I now see where Virginia gets her charm!!!

We also got to celebrate with Michael (Buffie's Hubby) He leaves on MONDAY for a four month trip to IRAQ! Pray for a safe trip and a QUICK return!

AS ALWAYS it was a BLAST!!!!!

Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Things we did on our FIRST Trip to the Beach!!!!






1. We went swimming!
2. We splashed in the waves and got knocked over
3. We got sand in our hair and bathing suit
4. We dragged all of our stuff to the beach
5. We ate lunch IN the water
6. We played with our priends
7. We had to walk back to the house to potty (even though there's a WHOLE ocean!)
8. I think it's safe to say we ate sand!
9. We wore LOTS of sunscreen
10.We still got nice tans
11.We got to see Miss Carrie and Miss Cathy - thanks for letting us come play!
12. Abby and Annie got to wear their matching kinis
13. We had soooo much PUN!

After Emma's birthday party - a FEW of us (The Joneses, The Wimberlys, The Wrights, English, Me and ALL of our kids) went out to dinner - Ole is ALL I have to say!
There was chips and cheese a flyin'!!!

It was a tumblin' good time at Emma's third birthday party (did I mention I LOVE Emma and try to bring her home with me ALL the time and Claire just won't let me HAVE her!) It was at the YMCA - FUN FUN FUN - Annie had a blast - she might have to take tumblebugs but OF COURSE the cake was her FAVORITE!!!
Mac had a hard time waiting on cake!

YEAH YEAH YEAH! It's time for MiMi's pool to open! It doesn't get warm until about now so we will be partying hard until September!

Ready, Set - GO!!!

Les and I took the girls on a Mommy and Me day - We started at the Childrens' Museum where of course the girls had a BLAST ( I am soooo reupping my membership - it is soooo fun) - they played and played - I think the grocery store was their favorite but they did love everything!

Then it was off to lunch and shopping - What a wonderful fun day - and notice Annie's poot has RECOVERED (until Grannie got to my house - then Annie no can walk)

We love hanging out with our bestest buds!!! We always have PUN!

THURSDAY THIRTEEN

13 Reasons I LOVE my Playgroup.

1. Because NO matter what the problem ~ someone knows the solution

2. Buffie will get up and go to chisel with you even if she doesn't want to (and go to spin!)

3. There is ALWAYS something going on

4. I have never laughed so hard in my life!

5. Mom's Night Out

6. My phone never stops ringing (and I LOVE to chat)

7. You can always find someone to eat, go to the movies, shop or workout

8. Bible study

9. They can and will find you the perfect wedding date and tell you your dress is fine (but NOT the shoes)

10. The kids are cute and funny and I know will be Annie's priends for LIFE

11. Leslie is the best cruise director in the world

Our FIRST (and please God only) trip to the ER!!!

And I am not talking about the show! My phone rings last night at around 10:15PM - It's my mom (of course Annie was spending the night) and I hear Annie crying...Mom said Annie had tripped over her tricycle much like everyday but this time she was complaining about her foot and crying...So Mom went to take a look and said Annie couldn't stand on it and was SHAKING so I say "Meet me at the ER"

Upon getting there I asked Annie if she needed to see the DR - she said "Yes I need to see the docker" ( I think she thought she was going to see Dr. Chris - she LOVES him!)

I told the nurse she may have broken her little foot - I didn't think so BUT she couldnt stand on it so let's check it- as we were checking in at 10:44PM someone walked by and said " We waited SEVEN hours and nothing was wrong!) OHMYGRAVY- I couldn't have made it that long!

So we wait in the waiting room for appx 20 minutes..there were only 2 others waiting.

They took us back - the doctor came - felt her foot said NO broken bones but Xray just in case..

There were some stickers from the nurses to keep us entertained and of course Annie...

She wanted to get in the bed and wait cause "I so tired, tired, tired"

at one point I asked can you walk and she said "Yes I can walk" got out of her stroller and realized her foot hurt so she said "Mommy - I no can walk"

Then it was off to Xrays - that was a little painful as they moved her hurt poot around!

But she was a good sport - she was sooo good they gave her a coloring book and a Dora sticker!

I aksed Annie "what happened?" She said " I pell on my bicycle and then my Grannie held me"

She had what I thought was two black eyes so I said "Does your face hurt?"

Annie " No my pace doesn't hurt just my poot"

I asked " Can you walk?" Annie said " No I can't walk - I need my stroller!"

I mean she even makes the ER funny - since nothing was wrong...she wanted to tell me what happened A FEW times so she kept saying "Mommy can you hear me?"

She still can't walk on it - we will wait until tomorry and see what Dr. Chris says!
