Thanksgiving

There is going to be a whole blog just about this cutie! One of the newest additions to our family! Mary Nicole Buckley "Mary Cole"
OMG - We LOVE HER!!!

I think she likes mash potatoes...YUM (I may have snuck her some)

This is our other newest addition - Kelsey Gail Bailey (I will fill the pages with these precious ones)
Annie just LOVES her cousins! She likes to sit criss cross apple sauce and hold her babies!!

Our Thanksgiving was filled with lots of food, fun and laughter - it is a great day to remember our many blessings of the year!

Kelsy and Mary Cole are by far our best and favorite blessings of the year!!!!

Ethnicity....Race???

This morning mom handed me a piece of paper to fill out before I took Annie to school. It was a "race/ethnicity" census...

Did you know that there are now only 5 RACES - White/Black/Asian/Native American/Pacific Islander

An ethnic group (or ethnicity) is a group of people whose members identify with each other, through a common heritage, consisting of a common language, a common culture (often including a shared religion) and a tradition of common ancestry (corresponding to a history of endogamy).

Apparently Hispanic/Latino is now an ethnic group, a culture so to speak....

So I checked white because I didn't know what else to do - none of the others seemed appropriate... And does that now mean she doesn't qualify for affirmative action? or did she ever?

I have not forgotten about my new promise of blogging...I have hit a small speed bump is all. Apparently in the moves I have lost the cords to BOTH my blackberry and camera uploaders. CURSES!!! There is much to catch up on and lots of great moments to review - I hesitate to upload partial pictures because i am afraid i will get lazy and not come back to make the extra effort...

here's a sneak peek :)

Thanksgiving Feast at Annie's School

Princess Eternal Sunshine
(hahaha - clearly she has her teachers fooled)
this is the turkey that her class made all the feathers for!

This her super cutie class - they did a "Tom the Turkey Rap Song"
Annie didn't sing...she was a little shy

I have NO idea what she was doing (my guess bossing me around)

We are very blessed to have such an amazing school filled with wonderful teachers and students...LOTS of her classmates wanted to talk to us and they are all very inclusive, kind and loving!!!
